Marsden Holiday Walk
People are being invited to hook up with a “Walking for Wellbeing” event happening in South Tyneside, at Marsden Old Quarry Nature Reserve.
It’s a four-mile wander, kicking off at 10 am on Monday, May 25, starting from Cleadon Park Library on Prince Edward Road. The group will amble through Cleadon Park, Linnet Way, past the South Shields Golf Course, and then make its way around the old quarry.
For the return leg, walkers will go back through the nature reserve and then head off again, returning past Cleadon Park
Organisers added that some paths around the quarry are muddy, not that even, bit rocky, and also steep, so people should be wearing proper footwear and keep an eye out.
